Athletistic / Football. Legendary Russian mixed martial arts fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov was the guest of honor at the Premier League match between Dynamo Makhachkala and Khimki. The meeting took place on May 8 in Kaspiysk (Republic of Dagestan) on the Anzhi Arena field.
Initially, organizers thought Khabib would kick the ball symbolically. However, Nurmagomedov himself refused to do this, handing over the honorary right to the veteran of the Great Patriotic War, veteran Ibrahim Pasha Sadykov.
“I was thinking about flying to the Santiago Bernabeu, but I still decided to visit the Anzhi Arena. That day the most important match of the season for all Dagestanis was there.” — Nurmagomedov wrote on his social media page.
