Italian club “Ascoli” led by ex-Moscow coach “Spartacus” Massimo Carrera relegated to Serie C.
On the 38th day of Serie B, Ascoli beat Pisa at home (2:1). Carrera’s team scored 41 points, took 18th place and rose to the third strongest division of Italian football. The Italian specialist was appointed head coach of Ascoli in March.
Carrera previously worked for Spartak, who under his leadership became Russian champions in the 2016/17 season and also won the country’s Super Cup in 2017.
