Blues owners are thinking about changes at the club
Head coach Chelsea Mauricio Pochettino said that his future at the London club will be known in a week.
“In a week we will find out whether I will remain as Chelsea manager. It’s not my decision because the owners are thinking about change. Of course, we will find out in a week.”
“It doesn’t concern me. Does this affect the people working with us? I think so, because at the end of the day, you can stop the rumors and fire me and it won’t be a problem. This happens in many clubs.”
It was previously reported that Pochettino plans to invite Atlético Madrid to replace Diego Simeone as head coach. The mattress makers are waiting for an appropriate decision on the fate of the coach from Chelsea.
Chelsea are in seventh place in the Premier League with 54 points. In the next round, the Blues will play Nottingham Forest on May 11. The meeting starts at 19:30.
