The young Ukrainian, spending only his first full season for the club, became the best according to fans
Ukrainian defender Ilya Zabarny awarded the title Player of the season 2023/24 in Bournemouth according to the fans.
Let us remind you that the young Ukrainian moved to the English Premier League club only in January last year. He didn’t immediately make it into the Vishen team, but since this season he has become an indispensable player – in particular, he played 36 of the team’s 37 matches in the Premier League without substitution. In March, Ilya scored his debut goal for Bournemouth, hitting the Luton goal in a thriller with an incredible plot (4:3).
The award was presented to the 21-year-old Ukrainian today after the home match against Brentford (1:2). In this match, with the score 0:0, the referee first awarded a penalty for Zabarny’s “foul” on Ivan Tawney, but then rightly canceled the penalty after watching the video replay.
Bournemouth are in tenth place in the Premier League. The Cherries will meet Chelsea on the road in the last round on May 19.
Voted for by you ♥️
