Football player “Lazio » Luis Alberto was excluded from the squad for disciplinary reasons ahead of the Italian championship’s matchday 36 match with Empoli, Calciomercato reports.
The midfielder voluntarily decided to skip training on the eve of the match, despite no injuries being reported to the Spaniard. The footballer did not show up at the team’s base on Saturday morning.
Luis Alberto extended his contract with Lazio in October last year after months of intense negotiations, but said last month he wanted to end his deal with the club at the end of the season.
This season, Luis Alberto, 31, has scored 5 goals in 32 Italian Serie A matches.
The meeting between Lazio and Empoli will take place on Sunday and will start at 1:30 p.m. (Moscow time).
