Alexander Pozdeev became a full-time head coach Spike. The president of the Kovalevsky club, Andrei Zasukha, expressed support and full confidence in the coaching staff on the eve of the match against LNZ in the 28th round of the UPL.
Pozdeev was appointed acting head coach of Kolos at the end of April. He replaced Yaroslav Vishniac, who was transferred to the position of vice-president of the club.
Under the leadership of Pozdeev, Kolos played two matches in the Ukrainian championship, losing to Dynamo (0:5) and Zarya (0:1). The next match of the Kovalev team with LNZ is scheduled for May 13, starting at 15:30.
37-year-old Pozdeev is a Kolos legend who played for the team from the Kyiv region as a midfielder from 2013 to 2020. At the end of his career, he led the youth team for almost four seasons.
Kolos is in 12th place in the UPL. The team’s lead from the play-off zone is only three points.
