Athletistic / Football. Former Manchester United midfielder and now co-owner of American Inter Miami, David Beckham, has spoken out about the problems at the Mancunian club. The Red Devils risk finding themselves without European competition for next season.

“I think in the last 5-10 years Manchester United have had all kinds of problems, but it always happens when there is such a coach (Sir Alex Ferguson. – Rating Athletistic) leaves the team. Of course, we would all like the situation at the club to change quite quickly, because, in my opinion, the black streak has been going on for a very long time,” Beckham was quoted as saying by The Athletic.

David Beckham is a product of Manchester United. He played for this club from 1993 to 2003. With the Red Devils, he won the Champions League and became six times champion of England.

Manchester United have scored 54 points from 36 matches and are in eighth place in the Premier League table. In the national championship, Erik ten Hag’s team still has two matches to play: on May 15, the Mancunians will host Newcastle United, and on the 19th they will meet Brighton & Howes Albion. The Red Devils will face Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
