Athletistic / Football. Acting head coach of Spartak Vladimir Slishkovich explained why Alexander Sobolev and Georgy Dzhikia were not in the lineup for the match against Krasnodar.

The coach called Jikia’s absence a decision. Sliskovich believes that the footballer is not yet ready to enter the field from the first minutes. As for Sobolev, Alexander didn’t fit the plan for this particular match.

“Jikia is my choice. He still needs time to get fit. I don’t think he is ready to play from the first minutes today. I wasn’t sure if this match suited Jikia. Is Sobolev in reserve? Each player has his own characteristics When he plays Sobolev, it’s a different type of football, I’m lucky to have a choice,” said Sliskovich.

After 28 days of RPL, Spartak occupies fifth place in the standings and has 46 points.
