The company signed a new contract with UEFA
Media service MEGOGO will become the official broadcaster European Cups V Ukraine for the next three years. The company has signed a contract with UEFA for sole rights to broadcast matches in European club tournaments.
Let us remind you that the Mego service has been broadcasting the Champions League and Europa League since the 2020/21 season. It should be noted that broadcasts of matches of Ukrainian teams in European cups were also available throughout Ukraine on national terrestrial television channels.
In the new season, Ukraine will have five teams in European competition. Two (Shakhtar and Dynamo) will have the opportunity to qualify for the Champions League, one team (winner of the Ukrainian Cup or bronze medalist of the championship) will receive a place in the Europa League qualifications. Two more representatives will compete for access to the Conference League.
For Ukrainian teams, the 2024/25 season in European competition will begin on June 19, when pairs for the second qualifying round of the Champions League and the second qualifying round of the Conference League will be formed. The first matches for our representatives at these stages are scheduled for July 23-25.
