Former Russian national footballer Lubomir Kantonistov left the position of CEOKuban” the Krasnodar club’s website reported.
The contract with the 45-year-old specialist was terminated by agreement of the parties. Cantonistov has held this position since March 2023. The name of the new general director of Kuban will be announced later.
“Kuban thanks Lyubomir Danilovich for his fruitful work and significant contribution to the development of the club, and also wishes him further success in his future professional activities,” the statement said.
“Kuban” with 23 points occupies the last place in the First League standings.
