Shakhtar beat Dynamo in the last match and won the championship title ahead of schedule
Midfielder Shakhtar Georgy Sudakov recognized as the best player of the 28th round of the Ukrainian Premier League. Mentor Minaya Zeljko Ljubenovic became the best coach.
Sudakov scored the winning goal in the match with Dynamo (1:0). The miners, thanks to their victory, became champions of Ukraine ahead of schedule. Georgy received 41.8% of the votes in a fan poll. Behind him were Arthur Remenyak (26.5%), Bohdan Boychuk (18.2%) and Muharrem Yashari (13.5%).
Minaj, under the leadership of Lyubenovich, pulled out a strong-willed victory over Vorskla (3:2). The Transcarpathians lost with a score of 0:2, but managed to score three goals. Lyubenovich (34%) was ahead of other mentors – Sergei Shishchenko (31.9%), Marino Pusic (24.1%) and Ruslan Rotan (10%).
In the penultimate round of the UPL, Shakhtar will play against Dnepr-1, and Minai will meet with Kolos. The fights will take place on May 19.
