Athletistic/Football. Zenit coach Sergei Semak commented on the victory over CSKA (0:0, 5:4 on penalties) in the second leg of the RPL FONBET Russian Cup final.
“We released a slightly experimental team to look better on the second floor. The championship is a higher priority tournament for us, which is why we rotate so heavily.
We mind our own business and work every day. Discussions on a contract extension have been postponed until the end of the season. Nothing changed, we wanted to win and continue to want it,” Semak is quoted in the club’s press service.
The super final between Zenit and Baltika will take place on June 2 at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
