17 year old forwardPalmeiras » Endrick left the field at the start of a Libertadores Cup group stage match after being injured.
In the fifth round of the group stage of the tournament, the Brazilian club defeated the Ecuadorian Independiente with a score of 2:1. The 17-year-old striker was sent off the field on a medical card in the 60th minute of the match – before that he unsuccessfully stepped on his foot and, apparently, injured his ankle.
The severity of the damage is unknown at this time.
Previously, Endrick was part of the Brazilian national team for the upcoming America’s Cup, which will take place from June 20 to July 14 in the United States.
Endric, considered one of the most talented players of the new Brazilian generation, plays in the Palmeiras system and has already signed a contract with Real Madrid, for whom he will play from the summer of 2024 after his 18th birthday.
