Head coach of the German national team Julien Nagelsmann has decided the team composition for the home European Championship in 2024, according to the website of the German Football Association (DFB).
The list includes 27 players, the captain of the Bundesteam will be Ilkay Gundogan.
The German team’s opponents in Group A will be the teams from Hungary, Scotland and Switzerland. Before the tournament, the Germans will play friendly matches with the national teams of Ukraine (June 3) and Greece (June 7).
The composition of the German national team for the European Championship is as follows:
goalkeepers: Manuel Neuer (Bayern), Marc-Andre ter Stegen (Barcelona, Spain), Alexander Nübel (Stuttgart), Oliver Baumann (Hoffenheim).
