Mudryk: This season is over for me

The Ukrainian was injured in the match with Brighton

Winger Chelsea Mikhail Mudrik confirmed that he will not play again this season for the London club.

“Unfortunately, this season is over for me. Thank you all, thank you for your messages. I’m feeling better, see you next season Blues. This is part of the game, isn’t it?” the Ukrainian wrote on social networks.

The Ukrainian suffered a concussion in the confrontation with Brighton (2:1). Blues coach Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed the player will miss the Bournemouth game.

Let us remind you that Mudryk, who was in the starting lineup, took part in the scoring attack, which was completed by Cole Palmer with a precise header. Shortly after this, the Ukrainian collided very hard with Tariq Lamptey and gave way to Christopher Nkunku.

In total, the 23-year-old Ukrainian has played 41 matches for Chelsea in all competitions this season, scoring seven goals and providing two assists.

The Blues are in sixth place in the Premier League. On May 19, Pochettino’s team will play the final match of the championship against Bournemouth, Ukrainian Ilya Zabarny.
