The 38-year-old midfielder set several records in the history of the club
Midfielder Seville Jesus Navas announced that he will leave the club at the end of this season.
The 38-year-old midfielder is a graduate of Nervion. Jesus has played for the Andalusian club since 2003, with a break in 2013-2017, when the player played for Manchester City. Navas played 688 matches for Sevilla (of which he was in the starting lineup in 600).
Jesus set several records in the history of the club. Navas is Seville’s most decorated player; the midfielder won eight trophies with the club, including two UEFA Cups and two Europa League triumphs. The midfielder is also the club record holder for the number of matches and the number of games for the Spanish national team among Seville football players.
This season, Jesus has played 35 matches for the club in all competitions. The midfielder scored two assists in them.
Sevilla is in 12th place in La Liga. In the next match, the Nerviones will play Atlético Madrid on May 19.
