Midfielder of Betis and Spain Isco suffered a fractured fibula, reports the club’s press service.
The footballer was diagnosed with a diaphyseal fracture of the left fibula.
“The club’s medical services will assess in the coming hours the need for surgery to correct the injury,” the statement said.
This La Liga season, Isco, 32, has made 28 appearances, scoring eight goals and making five assists.
The footballer has been named among the candidates to join the Spanish national team for Euro 2024, but the national team is yet to announce his roster.
The European Championship will take place in 10 cities in Germany from June 14 to July 14.
