The Moscow club announced on Thursday that 45-year-old Serbian specialist Dejan Stankovic will become the team’s new head coach starting next season.
— Dejan can make Spartak a champion, he proved his level while working with Red Star, winning both the Serbian championship and the cup, and with him the team looked great in the European competition. Now he has become the first with Ferencvaros. He has extensive playing experience, he worked with great coaches – Mancini, Mourinho. For us Serbs, his appointment is a good thing; Ilic and Stankovic now work in Russia, which means they trust Serbian specialists, which is good.

— Yes, when I worked at Radnicki. He plays attacking football with a lot of dynamics.
