Chairman of the Board of Moscow Football Club “Spartacus” Leonid Fedun denied reports that he would quit the job.
According to the SPARTAK KB TELEGA Telegram channel, Alexander Matytsyn, first vice-president of Lukoil, could soon replace Fedun at the head of the board of directors of the Reds-Whites.
“It’s nonsense, I don’t want to comment on the nonsense that pops up from time to time in the press,” Fedun told RBC Sport.
Fedun has been the head of Spartak’s board since 2005. Last season, the team won the Russian Cup and took 10th place in the national championship.
