Torop was injured in the second leg of the cup match against Zenit after a collision with Alip. The goalkeeper was unable to continue the match and was replaced. Later it became known that the footballer suffered a serious head injury.
“Slava Torop is currently in one of the hospitals in Moscow. Based on the results of an additional examination, an operation will be scheduled, after which it will be possible to determine the exact time frame for his recovery. This season, Torop played 16 matches for CSKA, in which he missed 13 goals. At the same time, he has six “crackers” to his credit.
