Earlier in May, the head of the UAF signed a memorandum of cooperation with the president of the French Football Federation
Delegation Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) represented by its president Andrey Shevchenko and the Secretary General Igor Grishchenko visited the 74th FIFA Congress V Bangkokthe capital of Thailand.
As part of the event, the head of the UAF concluded a tripartite cooperation agreement with the football associations of Norway and Romania.
“As part of our cooperation, we are focusing on the development of grassroots football, as well as girls’ and women’s football. In particular, during 2024-2025, female trainers from Ukraine and Romania will be trained in Norway. Without qualified coaches there will be no development of grassroots football, and without them there will be no strong national teams,” Shevchenko said.
Today, at the aforementioned FIFA Congress, Brazil won the bid to host the 2024 Women’s World Cup against a joint bid from Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.
Let us remind you that the other day Shevchenko signed a memorandum of cooperation with the President of the French Football Federation, Philippe Diallo. Earlier, in February, the head of the UAF concluded a similar agreement with the president of the Italian Football Association, Gabriele Gravina.
