Metalist 1925 snatched a draw in the match with Polesie, but remained in last place in the UPL
Head coach Metalist 1925 Victor Skripnik commented on the fight with Polesie (3:3) in the match of the 29th round Ukrainian Premier League.
“An interesting game for the fans, like a fairy tale, but for coaches such matches are always very difficult. After the break we showed character and could have conceded more. But after the Polesie players were tired, our players wanted not to lose and they succeeded. In the last round, now everything depends on us and on Krivbass. Let’s hope we cling to the last, we are still alive.”
“What composition Krivbass and Minai will have is their decision. We cannot adjust, ask, or anything else. If they want to lose four games in a row, what will we do? We’ll only point to ourselves.”
