Alexander Serloth scored four goals against the Ukrainian goalkeeper
Madrid Real drew on the road with Villarreal in a crazy match of the 37th round Examples – 4:4.
Blancos midfielder Arda Guler opened the scoring in the 14th minute, and some time later Joselu scored the visitors’ second goal. Villarreal reduced the gap thanks to a goal from Alexander Serloth. But within a minute, Lucas Vazquez restored the two-goal advantage for Real, and then Guler scored a double.
The hosts turned the game around in the second half. Immediately after the break, with an interval of six minutes, Serlot scored three more goals against the Ukrainian Andrey Lunin. Note that the Norwegian now has 23 goals in La Liga, and is two goals ahead of the Ukrainian Artem Dovbik in the list of top scorers.
Spanish champion Real scored 94 points. Villarreal got 52 points and will finish the season in eighth place.
In the last match of Primera 2023/24, Madrid will host Betis, and Villarreal will play with Osasuna. Both matches will take place on May 25.
