Transcarpathians lost the score twice, but managed to beat Kolos
Head coach Minaya Zeljko Ljubenovic was pleased with the performance of his team in the match with Kolosom (3:2) in the 29th round Ukrainian Premier League.
“We deserved to win. There is a lot of work behind the result. With every game the guys only move forward, progress, show what they are capable of. And I’m also grateful to our fans, so many people came to support us.”
“Before this game, I told Vakula that this was his game, that he would definitely score today. Because God must reward him for the games he plays, for the assists he gives out. And he scored today.”
“I admit, I followed the results of my opponents and asked my assistants at the podium. I also knew during the break. But the most important thing was for my team to win.”
Minai lost twice during the meeting with Kolos, but managed to fight back and win. The decisive goal was scored by Vladislav Vakula.
Minaj remains in penultimate place in the UPL with 25 points. In the last round, Lyubenovich’s team will play against Krivbass on May 25.
