Manchester city became the first men’s team to win four in a row title champions of England.
The citizens beat West Ham (3:1) in the last round of the 2023/24 English Premier League. Pep Guardiola’s team defended the title they have won consistently since 2021.
Prior to this, Huddersfield (from 1924 to 1926), Arsenal (1933-1935), Liverpool (1982-1984) and Manchester United (1999-2001 and 2007-2009) became champions of England three times in a row. It should be noted that in England the Chelsea women’s team has five championship titles.
Pep Guardiola’s team will have to play one official match at the end of the season. City will play Manchester United in the FA Cup final on May 25.
