Athletistic / Football. Spartak Moscow defender Georgy Dzhikia addressed the fans after the final home match of the red and white team. At the end of the 2023/2024 season, the 30-year-old Russian will leave Spartak as a free agent.
“During the many years I spent at Spartak, I was very happy that the fans always supported me, and I never had any problems, because whenever it was possible, they were always there.
Many thanks to them for everything they have done, are doing and will do for Spartak,” Jikia told the Spartak press service.
Georgy Dzhikia became a Spartak player in January 2017. In a red and white jersey, he played 214 matches in all official tournaments, scored five goals and provided 11 assists. This season, the defender has only played 11 matches. Together with Spartak, Jikia became the champion of Russia, as well as the winner of the country’s Cup and Super Cup.
