The Poltava team takes eighth place in the UPL
Vice President Vorskly Oleg Lysak said that the club plans to extend the contract with the acting head coach Sergei Dolgansky.
“Regarding the head coach, we are planning the extension of Sergei Dolgansky. We clearly understand the situation in which he finds himself. We worked with Skripnik for a year and a half. He had his own schemes, his own vision of football. We produced equipment exclusively for it. Now in the winter we managed to sign 3 players who joined the main team.”
Dolgansky became acting head coach of Vorskla in January. The mentor replaced Viktor Skripnik at the head of the team.
Vorskla confidently beat Obolon (3:1) in the last match. Dolgansky’s team takes eighth place in the Ukrainian Championship, gaining 33 points. In the final round, Vorskla will meet with LNZ on May 25.
