On May 3, media reported that Denis Glushakov argued with a teammate over a “romantic relationship” with his wife. It was claimed that after this Denis was expelled from Urartu. However, the midfielder himself denied the rumors and said that he is not playing now due to a calf injury.
Denis Glushakov became an Urartu player in February 2024. As part of the Armenian team, the 37-year-old Russian played 12 matches in all tournaments and scored one assist.
