Nadezhda Kichenok lost in the first round of the WTA doubles tournament in Strasbourg

Earlier, Lyudmila Kichenok also completed her performance at the tournament in France.

Ukrainian Nadezhda Kichenok and Japanese Miyu Kato were defeated in the first round of the doubles tournament WTA 500 in French Strasbourg.

Kichenok and Kato lost to the tandem of Ena Shibahara (Japan) / Wang Xinyu (China). The fight lasted just over an hour.

In the first set, Nadezhda and Miyu gave their opponents one game on their serve – 4:6. In the second game, the Ukrainian and Japanese lost three of their serves to their opponents, making only one break in response – 2:6.

Today Lyudmila Kichenok also completed her performances at the tournament in Strasbourg. Nadezhda’s sister played together with Shuko Aoyama from Japan.

We would like to remind you that earlier Ukrainians Angelina Kalinina and Elina Svitolina successfully started in the singles of this tournament.
