“Native land, native country”
Miner brought the UPL trophy and the Ukrainian Cup to the Donetsk region.
The club commented on this event on social networks with the words “Native land, native country”, and also accompanied the post with poems by the great Ukrainian poet, native of Donbass Vladimir Sosyura:
My Donechchino, the heroes of the bright mother,
We see your factories like an ensign in front of our eyes.
You sing to me when the ghouls are humming,
sent, so that I glorify you in songs.Donechchino is mine, you are my fatherland,
You are my love and all my feelings!
I touched your breasts like a child,
to gain strength again for song and life.
Let us remind you that on May 11, Shakhtar, having defeated Dynamo 1:0, secured the championship title ahead of schedule, and four days later won the Ukrainian Cup, beating Vorskla in the final (2:1). At the same time, the Miners surpassed Dynamo in the number of Cups won – 14 versus 13.
In the last round of the championship, Marino Pusic’s team will play away against Polesie on May 25.
