The 38-year-old Croatian’s contract with the Madrid club runs until the end of this season. It was previously reported that Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti had invited Modric to join his coaching staff.
Fabrizio Romano claims Modric rejected all offers not linked to Real Madrid; the Croatian intends to continue his football career. The Spanish club also wants to extend the agreement with Modric for another season. Romano stressed that money doesn’t matter to the Croatian, he wants to play for Los Blancos.
Modric joined Real Madrid in 2012. As part of the Madrid team, he won the Spanish Championship four times, the Spanish Cup twice, the UEFA Super Cup four times, the League Champions on five occasions, the Club World Cup and the Spanish Super Cup.
