Rivals include Great Britain and Poland

Ukrainian national hockey team recognized all the competitors on World Cup 2025 V Division IA.

The last teams to compete with Ukraine were Great Britain and Poland. Both teams left the elite division and will play with the Ukrainian national team in Division IA.

Thus, in the spring of 2025, the following will play in Division 1A: Great Britain, Poland, Italy, Romania, Japan and Ukraine. Ukraine will be represented in Division IA for the sixth time in history. The last time the blue-yellows played at this level was in the 2017 season.

The Ukrainian team triumphed with five wins out of five possible and an astonishing goal difference of 31:2 at the 2024 World Cup in Division IB. Each of the matches at this World Cup was won by our team with a large score.

The 2024 World Cup is currently taking place in the Czech Republic. Its completion is scheduled for May 26. The current world champion is the Canadian team.
