Athletistic/Football. The head coach of the Portuguese national team, Roberto Martinez, has decided the final lineup for the 2024 European Championship.
The list of 26 players includes all the main stars of Portuguese football, led by the legendary Pepe (41) and Cristiano Ronaldo (39). Notable players missing from the squad include injured Raphael Guerreiro (Bayern), as well as Mateus Nunez (Manchester City) and Renato Sanches (Roma).
Before the 2024 European Championship itself, which will be held in Germany from July 14 to 14, the Portuguese national team will play three test matches – against Finland, Croatia and Ireland.
At the continental championship itself, within Group F, Martinez’s team will face the Czech Republic, Turkey and Georgia.
