According to British tabloid The Telegraph, Chelsea bosses have identified four candidates from whom they will choose a new head coach. That list includes Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca, Ipswich Town helmsman Kieran McKenna, Spanish Girona head coach Michel Sanchez and Sebastian Hoenöss of German Stuttgart.
Mauricio Pochettino takes over at Chelsea in May 2023. His contract with the Blues runs until the end of next season.
Chelsea scored 63 points in 38 matches and took sixth place in the current Premier League season. The Londoners are guaranteed to play in European competition next season. If Manchester City wins the FA Cup final, Chelsea will play in the Europa League, and if Manchester United win the trophy, the Blues will represent England in the Conference League.
