CSKA Torop goalkeeper released from hospital

Goalie CSKA Vladislav Toropa was released from the hospital, reports the press service of the military club.

Torop suffered multiple facial skull fractures and a concussion last week during the FONBET Russian Cup match against Zenit Saint Petersburg. On May 18, the goalkeeper underwent surgery to restore the zygomatic-orbital complex and upper jaw.

– Good news! Today, Slava Torop was released from the hospital! He will have to undergo rehabilitation at the base under the supervision of club doctors, CSKA said in a press release.

When leaving the medical center, Torop was greeted by CSKA supporters with a banner “Glory, be healthy!” They wished the footballer a speedy recovery and a return to the field.

This season, Torop, 20, has made 16 appearances for CSKA, keeping six clean sheets.
