The president Dynamo Igor Surkis commented on the participation of the people of Kiev in a charity match with Everton.

“The main thing for me is that everyone understands the importance of supporting football players. Games like the match with Fenerbahce are also a certain front. It seems to me that such matches bring small, but moments of joy.

“I was informed that today they will collect the largest amount of all time. We will know the results after the match or the next day.”

“It is very important to support compatriots. Dynamo will continue to hold such matches.”

The meeting with Everton will take place at Goodison Park and will be held under the motto “Match for Peace! Stop the War. All funds raised during the game will be used to help Ukraine. Earlier it was reported that Everton will provide two thousand free tickets for immigrants from Ukraine.

The 2+2 TV channel will broadcast the charity match. The broadcast starts at 21:45 Kyiv time.

Recall that ex-defender of Dynamo Vitaliy Mykolenko has been playing in the Irisok since the winter of 2022. For six months, the Ukrainian played in 16 Everton matches, scoring one goal.

Dynamo should start in the Premier League on August 23. Kievans are also fighting for the group stage of the Champions League – the rival of Mircea Lucescu’s team in the third round of qualification will be the Austrian Sturm.

The new season of the English Premier League starts on August 5. Everton will host Chelsea in the first round of the Premier League.
