New York Rangers beat on the road in overtime Florida Panthers in the Eastern Conference playoffs National Hockey League (NHL) – 5:4.
The teams scored four goals between them in the first period. The hosts converted the power play twice, the Rangers responded with two goals of their own within 25 seconds of each other.
The visitors scored twice in the second period, but Florida managed to come back thanks to two goals in the third 20 minutes. Finally, in the sixth minute of overtime, Alexander Wennberg scored the winning goal for the guests.
The Rangers took the lead in the Eastern Conference Finals series. The fourth match will also take place at Florida’s home arena on the night of May 29.
