Swiss Fiala named MVP of the 2024 Ice Hockey World Championship

The Los Angeles Kings forward scored seven goals and gave six assists at the tournament

National team forward Switzerland Kevin Fiala recognized MVP of the 2024 Ice Hockey World Championship.

The Los Angeles Kings forward scored seven goals and gave six assists at the tournament. Fiala, together with the Swiss national team, reached the final of the 2024 World Cup, scoring one of the goals and converting the shootout in the semi-final match with Canada.

Fiala was also named the best forward of the tournament. The best goalkeeper was Lukas Dostal from the Czech Republic, the best defender was the Swiss Roman Josi.

The Czech Republic team became the 2024 World Champions, beating Switzerland in the final (2:0). In the match for third place, Sweden beat Canada.
