The legendary boxer experienced nausea and dizziness due to an exacerbation of the ulcer, but everything quickly returned to normal
Former undisputed world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) felt unwell during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles.
The 57-year-old boxing veteran reportedly “experienced nausea and dizziness due to an ulcer flare-up 30 minutes before landing.” Fortunately, this did not last long, and soon everything was fine with Iron Mike, as his representatives officially stated.
Let us remind you that on July 20, Tyson will fight with the famous YouTube blogger and boxer Jake Paul (9-1, 6 KOs). The event will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, USA. It was reported that the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TLDR) will require Mike to undergo special medical tests in order to allow him to participate in a fight under professional boxing rules.
It was initially assumed that the fight between Tyson and Paul would be held as an exhibition fight, but it would take place according to standard boxing rules. Subsequently, the fight officially received professional status.
On June 30, Iron Mike will turn 58 years old. In November 2020, Tyson had an exhibition fight with former world champion in five weight categories, Roy Jones. The match ended in a draw. On the undercard of the event, Jake Paul knocked out Nate Robinson.
Tyson had his last professional fight in 2005. Mike lost by TKO in the sixth round to Irishman Kevin McBride.
