Courtois was not included in the Belgium national team squad for Euro 2024

Belgium is the opponent of the Ukrainian national team in the group stage

The team’s application became known Belgium on Euro 2024.

The goalkeeper of Real Madrid, Andrei Lunin’s competitor, remained outside the lineup – Thibaut Courtois. Domenico Tedesco’s team has 25 players on its roster, including Kevin De Bruyne, Yannick Carrasco, Romelu Lukaku, Youri Tielemans and Jan Vertonghen.

Back in December, Thibault said that he decided to skip Euro 2024 in order to carry out full training at the Madrid club and get into optimal shape for the 2024/25 season.

During the campaign, Courtois suffered two serious injuries – first in August (torn cruciate ligament of the left knee), then in March (torn medial meniscus of the right knee). After each of them, the Belgian needed surgery.
