Athletistic / Football. Former Krasnodar and Swedish national team midfielder Kristoffer Olsson has said he is considering a return to football. In February 2024, the Swede collapsed at home and was hospitalized, where he was put on a ventilator.
“Now I feel very good. I was practically dying for three weeks, I was unconscious and I don’t remember anything from that period. But I believe that I will continue to play football and I am very optimistic on this issue.” quoted by the Swedish edition Aftonbladet.
In early March, it became known that Olsson was diagnosed with an inflammatory process in the blood vessels of the brain. It was for this reason that several blood clots formed in his brain, which had disastrous consequences on the footballer’s health.
Kristoffer Olsson played for Krasnodar from 2019 to 2021. As part of the Bulls, he became a two-time bronze medalist of the Russian Championship. It now belongs to Danish Midtjylland.
