— After finishing your playing career, you didn’t just work in football. How did you get to the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation in 1998?
– Indeed, there was such a sharp turning point in my life. I was talking to friends after finishing my career and this option came up. I do not regret having been able to work at the Chamber of Accounts. It’s a very serious organization, a completely different field. This kind of work requires a lot of knowledge and I have an economic background. This job has given me a lot.
— In football, has the experience acquired at the Audit Chamber been useful in the future?
– Certainly. The Chamber of Accounts requires knowledge of all laws. You always know what is possible and what is not. And when you then come to work at the club, you understand that this knowledge is certainly useful here too. So it was a good school of life.
— Why did you decide to leave this job?
— I wanted to return to football, I was attracted to what I loved. Therefore, I turned to the president of Lokomotiv Valery Nikolaevich Filatov to consider my application. He took me over, I became technical director. It was a great pleasure to work with Filatov and Semin. Together we managed to work for the good of Lokomotiv and do everything for the club to succeed. It was a good moment, which brought a lot of joy: gold medals in the championship, a worthy performance in the Champions League,” Bidzhiev told .
Bidzhiev worked in the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation from 1998 to 2000. After that he became technical director of Lokomotiv.
