The contract with the coach was extended for one season
Head coach Dnepra-1 Yuri Maximov decided to stay at the club. The option to extend the contract for the next season was activated with the mentor.
The club’s management plans to sell some players in order to pay off salary arrears with the rest of the players. Dnepr-1 is ready to consider proposals for any players. The team will spend the next season relying on the remaining players and youth.
Previously, Maksimov expressed doubts about the immediate future of the team. The coach said that most of the players have already agreed to move to other clubs.
In response to the words of the mentor, commercial director of SK Dnepr-1 Vyacheslav Fridman assured that the team will continue to perform in the new season. The functionary confirmed that the Dnipro team are ready to sell players and do not intend to let the leaders go for free.
Dnepr-1 took fourth place in the UPL. In the new season, Maksimov’s team will play in the Conference League qualifications.
