Vladimir Fedotov took over as head of CSKA in June 2022, replacing Alexei Berezutsky as head of the army team. Under his leadership, the capital club won the Russian Cup and won silver medals in the national championship. Last season, CSKA took only sixth place in the RPL.
According to media reports, former Lokomotiv Moscow coach Marko Nikolic will become the new coach of the military team. Previously, the Serb voluntarily terminated his contract with UAE club Shabab Al-Ahli.
