Athletistic / Football. Midfielder of Monaco and the Russian national team Alexander Golovin answered a question about the possible transfer of CSKA striker Fedor Chalov to the Monaco camp.
“Well no, we are not so close to the coach that I would advise him to watch out for Chalov. (Smiles.) I cannot give advice regarding transfers. However, I think Fedya would be competitive in Monaco. I know his qualities as a footballer and his character. It seems to me that he would compete for a place in our club,” Golovin said, as quoted by Sport-Express.
Fedor Chalov and Alexander Golovin graduated from CSKA. The midfielder left the military camp in July 2018 to move to Monaco for 30 million euros. Chalov’s contract with the reds and blues is valid until June 30, 2025. The Transfermaarkt portal estimates his market value at 12 million euros. Previously, media reported that Marseille were showing active interest in Fedor.
