The first joint project organizes summer camps for children from Kharkov, Zaporozhye and other regions
The president Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) Andrey Shevchenko and head German Football Association (DFB) Bernd Neudorf signed a memorandum of cooperation.
“Ukraine is playing its second friendly match with Germany this year. For me, this is a confirmation of solidarity and good relations between the two countries,” Shevchenko said.
“Also today, the German and Ukrainian associations took another step forward and signed a memorandum of cooperation. Our first joint project will focus on organizing summer camps to improve the health of children from hot regions of Ukraine – Kharkov, Zaporozhye and other regions, as well as supporting children’s trainers in the learning process. I am sure that our two associations have many other important projects ahead. DFB and President Neundorf, thank you!”
Let us remember that in May the UAF signed a similar document with the French Football Federation (FFF). In February, Shevchenko entered into a memorandum of cooperation with the President of the Italian Football Association, Gabriele Gravina.
Let us remind you that Shevchenko was elected as the new president of the UAF on January 25, 2024. The team of the new head of the Association also included Pavel Boychuk, Sergey Rebrov and Alexander Shevchenko as vice-presidents.
