The aim of the club is to provide rapid assistance to the citizens of Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, without unnecessary bureaucratic procedures. Munich leaders will decide exactly how the funds will be used.
“The floods have caused enormous damage and terrible suffering. In such exceptional situations, a special spirit of unity is necessary, as many people on the ground are currently demonstrating. “It is important that Bayern shows solidarity and supports the victims,” said Bayern president Herbert Hainer.
