Manchester United midfielder Casemiro becomes a shareholder of Marbella FC

At the beginning of June the club rose to the third strongest division in Spain

Star midfielder Manchester United And Brazil national team Casemiro officially became a shareholder of the football club Marbella. The 32-year-old Brazilian has been confirmed as a new member of the board of directors.

“I am honored to join Marbella Football Club because my biggest motivation is the club’s impressive growth opportunities. I have visited Marbella several times with my family and my children, my wife and I are in love with this city that we want to be associated with for life. Without a doubt, together we will dream of taking Marbella to the top, but for now we have to enjoy promotion,” said Casemiro.

Casemiro joined Manchester United in the summer of 2022 from Real Madrid. In the 2023/24 season, the midfielder played 32 matches for the Red Devils, scored 5 goals and provided 3 assists.

Marbella moved up in class at the end of the 2023/24 season. In the regular season, the team took third place in Group 4 of the RFEF Segunda, and in the playoffs for reaching Primera RFEF (the third strongest division in Spain) they beat Getafe B (0:0, 2:1) and Logrones (1:0, 1 :0).
