The Ukrainian’s inner circle is determined to see the goalkeeper leave Real Madrid
Manchester United working on the transfer of the Ukrainian goalkeeper Real Madrid’s Andrey Lunin.
The Red Devils have been pursuing the Ukrainian’s transfer longer than a number of other competitors. The goalkeeper’s inner circle is pushing him to leave Real Madrid. Also, the option of a transfer this summer was voiced to Andrei by his agent Jorge Mendes.
It was previously reported that Lunin was being watched by Atletico Madrid. It is noted that Blancos president Florentino Perez is more likely to approve the goalkeeper’s transfer to the Premier League than to another Madrid club.
Andrey doubts the advisability of extending his contract with Real Madrid. Although it was first reported that Lunin would sign a contract until 2029. The contract will also stipulate an increase in wages.
Lunin has played 31 matches for Real Madrid in all competitions this season. The goalkeeper conceded 32 goals and kept 12 clean sheets.
Real Madrid became champions of Spain 2023/24. Manchester United finished eighth in the Premier League, winning the FA Cup at the end of the season.
