Former footballer “Krasnodar” Ari thinks the goalkeeper Matvei Safonov capable of becoming the best in the world in his role after switching to French “PSG”.
Earlier, insider Fabrizio Romano reported that Safonov will soon sign a contract with PSG until 2029. According to media reports, the goalkeeper’s transfer to the Paris club will amount to 20 million euros, including bonuses.
– Matvey Safonov will certainly go even further, he will be more than just a PSG goalkeeper. I think he has a very good chance of becoming the best goalkeeper in the world – he has the potential for that. Matvey always seemed to me to be a top goalkeeper,” Ari quotes RB Sport.
Safonov made 30 appearances for Krasnodar in the MIR RPL during the 2023/24 season, keeping 11 clean sheets.
